A few photos of the exterior of Tangaroa:

Description
Tangaroa is a popular French built 47ft Cutter rigged round bilge aluminium centreboarder designed by the renown french designer ‘Andre Mauric’.
Tangaroa is well maintained, fast and strong, a true blue water cruising or expedition yacht. She has just completed an 8month cruise through the south pacific and is currently cruising the summer season in North island New Zealand. Her rig is well thought out and easy to handle and is well set up for short handed sailing. Very spacious down below with 8 berths in 3 cabins with a large quarter berth. Very large saloon table and seating to fit up to 10 people.
With her lifting centreboard and lifting rudder she is a true shoal draught vessel, she will sit comfortably on the sand if need be and draws only 0.9m with boards up.
She is a very self sufficient long range cruising yacht with over 1000lt fresh water tankage and water maker. 500Lt diesel in 2 x 250lt tanks. 700Ah house batteries with both solar and wind generation, LED lighting throughout. Huge fridge/freezer and well thought out storage means she truly is a go anywhere yacht.
Every system on this boat is well thought out and well maintained. Everything works as it should. With a large selection of spare parts carried aboard.
We bought this yacht with the specific intention of sailing the south pacific for a year with our children. After a few months preparing her in New Zealand we set sail for Tonga, we sailed up through the Tongan island groups and on to Fiji sailing extensively throughout fiji for 3months before moving on to Vanuatu and then onto Loyalty islands and New Caledonia before sailing back to New Zealand in November 2015. She has fulfilled her objective superbly. We have had such a wonderful time in Tangaroa and she will be sorely missed. We are currently sailing around North island NewZealand.
